Any member of www.koreanair.com holding a valid e-Ticket is eligible for Web Check-In Service. Web Check-In service is available for passengers flying to a country with visa requirements. A voucher needs to be printed for the flight and exchanged for a boarding pass at the airport of departure. Before you log in to the web check-in page, please have your passport ready since passport details are required in order to process your check-in(Non-members need their reservation and e-ticket number for check-in). You cannot change seat once you complete the web check-in. Also, check-in will no longer be available once you cancel it. How to use Web Check - In Service 1. Menu bar on top of the homepage: Travel Planning > Web Check–In >   START My Web Check-In > Login (Non-members can use the service by   clicking 'Web Check-In for non-Skypass guest' button) 2. View the service eligible reservation list 3. Select flight/passenger 4. Enter passport detail 5. Select/Change seat 6. Check-In/Print At the airport Confirm your passport and travel documents at the Korean Air Web/Mobile Check-in counter. Then, have your boarding pass, which can be printed from home, stamped for validation before heading directly to the boarding gate. Also, you can check-in your baggage at this counter. Please keep in mind that you need to give yourself ample time for security check and other procedures at an airport. We recommend that you complete all procedures at the aiport at least 1 hour prior to scheduled departure time. Passengers holding Exchange Voucher or printed Summary page are required to exchange the voucher or the page for a boarding pass at the Korean Air Web Check-In counter at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure time. If your itinerary includes a flight to a country with visa requirements, an exchange voucher is issued instead of a home-printable boarding pass because your travel documents must be confirmed by an airport agent. Please visit our web check-in counter and exchange your voucher for a boarding pass at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure. You will be presented with an exchange coupon for boarding pass if you purchase a ticket using your credit card. Please go to the airport web check-in counter at least 1 hour prior to departure and present your credit card and exchange coupon for verification. After verification, the staff at the check-in counter will exchange your coupon for an actual boarding pass. You must present the credit card that you used to purchase the ticket for verification purposes. Passenger not-eligible for Web Check-In Service Passenger traveling on other airline flights. Passenger traveling on code-share flights operated by other airlines. Passenger holding a group ticket. Passenger requested a service requiring additional confirmation at the airport (e.g. traveling by unaccompanied minor, traveling with pets, wheelchair required passengers, upgrading cabin class etc). Passengers departing from Paris, Saint Petersburg, Tashkent, Tunxi, Mudanjiang, Hangzhou and Urumqi. (Web Check-In service is not available due to the circumstances of the airport) About home printed boarding pass Home Printed Boarding Pass carries the same legal validity as traditional magnetic strip boarding pass. And, first and prestige class passengers can continue enjoying Korean Air’s exclusive lounge service by presenting their home printed boarding pass. Currently, home printed boarding pass issued by Web Check-In Service is accepted at a total of 58 airports worldwide. Notice Terminal, boarding gate or assigned seats are subject to change without pre-notice under inevitable circumstances such as aircraft maintenance, airport conditions etc. Therefore, upon arrival at the airport, it is recommended to monitor flight status display for any possible change. Any inaccurate passport detail submitted during Web Check-In Service may cause a delay in immigration process, or be subject to other restrictions. Only printed version of home printed boarding pass is valid as all copied version will not be accepted at the boarding gate. In order to prevent any misuse, home printed boarding pass features an anti-copy protection logo which will not appear on the copied version. In case of encountering print failure, please visit either Web Check-In or general check-in counters for issuing of your boarding pass. For reissue or exchange of your home printed boarding pass, please visit web check-in or general check-in counters. (Please note that KIOSK located at the airport does not support any reissue or exchange of home printed boarding pass.) The seat change is not allowed once the web check-in is completed. Before login to web check-in page, please have traveler’s details ready (e.g. date of birth, mobile phone no.) in order to process your successful check-in. How to use Web Check- In Service 1. Click Web Check-In icon in the main page or go to the upper menu bar    (Travel Planning > Web Check–In) 2. Login with www.koreanair.com ID and Password 3. View the service eligible reservation list 4. Select the reservation to begin Web Check-In Service NOTES You can cancel your Web Check-In at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure using the Web Check-In menu. At the airport For passengers holding Home Printed Boarding Pass without any baggage to check in, additional check-in procedure is not required. Please go directly to your boarding gate without visiting Korean Air Web Check-in counter. For passengers holding Home Printed Boarding Pass with a baggage to check in, Exchange Voucher or printed Summary page, please visit Korean Air Web Check-in counter at least 20 minutes prior to your scheduled departure. With your boarding pass, you can pass through Auto-Entry Gate located in front of departure gate of Domestic Terminal by scanning your barcode on your boarding pass.
