About Web Check-In Service
Web Check-In Service is available from 4 hours to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time of Korean Air flight. Any member of www.koreanair.com holding valid e-Tickets and traveling to visa-not-required destinations is eligible for Web Check-In Service. Before login to web check-in page, please have your passport ready since the passport details are required in order to process your check-in.

How to use Web Check - In Service
1. Click Web Check-In icon in the main page or go to the upper menu bar
   (Travel Planning > Web Check–In)
2. Login with www.koreanair.com ID and Password
3. View the service eligible reservation list
4. Select the reservation to begin Web Check-In Service

At the airport
For passengers holding Home Printed Boarding Pass without any baggage to check in, additional check-in procedure is not required. Please go directly to your boarding gate after validating the home printed boarding pass at Korean Air Web Check-in counter. Validation requires a stamp on your home printed boarding pass.
For passengers holding Home Printed Boarding Pass with a baggage to check in, please visit Korean Air Web Check-in counter for your boarding pass validation (stamp) and baggage check-in procedure. Baggage check-in must be completed at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure.
For passengers holding Exchange Voucher or printed Summary page, exchange for a boarding pass is required at the Korean Air Web Check-In counter at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure.
The recommended gate show-up time is prior to the notified boarding starting time.

Passenger not-eligible for Web Check-In Service
Passenger traveling on other airline flights.
Passenger traveling on code-share flights operated by other airlines.
Passenger holding a group ticket.
Passenger requested a service requiring additional confirmation at the airport (e.g. traveling by unaccompanied minor, traveling with pets, wheelchair required passengers, upgrading cabin class etc).

About home printed boarding pass

Home Printed Boarding Pass carries the same legal validity as traditional magnetic strip boarding pass. And, first and prestige class passengers can continue enjoying Korean Air’s exclusive lounge service by presenting their home printed boarding pass.

Currently, home printed boarding pass issued by Web Check-In Service is accepted at a total of 58 airports worldwide.

Notice
Terminal, boarding gate or assigned seats are subject to change without pre-notice under inevitable circumstances such as aircraft maintenance, airport conditions etc. Therefore, upon arrival at the airport, it is recommended to monitor flight status display for any possible change.
Any inaccurate passport detail submitted during Web Check-In Service may cause a delay in immigration process, or be subject to other restrictions.
Only printed version of home printed boarding pass is valid as all copied version will not be accepted at the boarding gate. In order to prevent any misuse, home printed boarding pass features an anti-copy protection logo which will not appear on the copied version.
In case of encountering print failure, please visit either Web Check-In or general check-in counters for issuing of your boarding pass.
For reissue or exchange of your home printed boarding pass, please visit web check-in or general check-in counters. (Please note that KIOSK located at the airport does not support any reissue or exchange of home printed boarding pass.)
