Q1: Can I earn mileage if I enroll after boarding? No. Retroactive credit will not be given for flights taken prior to enrollment. Therefore, please visit the homepage( www.koreanair.com ) or office to enroll before departure. Q2: Do SKYPASS Junior members have to apply again for SKYPASS membership once they turn 12 years old? Children under 12 years of ages are eligible for SKYPASS Junior membership. Once the child becomes 12 years old, the miles will automatically be transferred to SKYPASS membership and a SKYPASS membership card (same account number) will be delivered. Please review the membership profile and make sure the address is correct if you do not receive a new card. Q3: I lost my SKYPASS Membership card. How do I replace the card? We categorize the membership region according to the addresses provided. (e.g. America, Korea, Japan, Europe & Middle East, Southeast Asia & Oceania and China). When you request address change from one region to another, please submit a written request to change the region indicating new address and telephone number along with the photocopy of your passport. For more information, please contact our SKYPASS Service Center. (For region change to Korea region (BK), members must include Korea resident ID number.) Q5: My name has been changed legally. How can I update my new name? Please submit a photocopy of your identification card to your nearest office. Q6 : Why haven't I received my SKYPASS statement in a long time? Some regions such as North America have replaced the quarterly statement with the monthly E-statement. An E-statement can be sent to you on a monthly basis if you have any mileage activity for that period. For more information, please contact our SKYPASS Service Center. Q7 : How do I check my mileage on through the website? To register for North America site, please click here. Q8: I have two SKYPASS cards of different account numbers, what do I do? One member can only have one SKYPASS account. If you have two accounts under your name please check the names on the card and cancel one of them. Q9: Why is it that even though I earned 500,000 miles (1,000,000 miles) I have not yet become a Morning Calm Premium Club (Million Miler Club) member? Promotional miles or miles earned from select partners do not qualify for membership upgrade. Please visit Korean Air homepage to view your mileage summary. Q10: Morning Calm Club members are allowed 10kg excess baggage, but how about if I have a connecting flight on another airline? Excess baggage allowance only applies to flights on Korean Air. Therefore, you must pay the excess baggage charge for the connecting flight.
