According to type, pets may be carried into the cabin or must be checked-in. Korean Air permits small household pets, such as dogs, cats, birds, etc., that are equal to or less than 5kg in weight to be carried into the cabin. If a pet exceeds 5kg, it must be checked in. As regulations regarding the transport of pets can vary by country, passengers should confirm what documents, such as quarantine certificates, health certificates, rabies immunization reports, etc., are required, and should prepare them accordingly.
