Q1: What is the baggage allowance for check-in?

The free baggage allowance
is the maximum number, size, and weight of bags that each customer
is allowed with no additional charge. Baggage allowance vary depending
on your destinations.

Q2: What is the size and weight for carry-on baggage?
|
The size, weight and number of carry-on bags are limited to ensure passengers a safe and comfortable flight.

An instrument of total dimension 115cm(45ins) or less (violin) can be carry-on for free. However, an extra seat must be purchased for larger instruments (such as cellos, double bases and Korean lutes) that have a total dimension of 115cm(45ins) or more. |

Q3: What is the charge for excess baggage?

Any baggage in excess of the free baggage allowance will be subject to excess baggage charge.

- KRW 30,000 if departing from Korea
- $25 USD if departing from the U.S.
- $35 CAD if departing from Canada
Effective August 1, 2008
- KRW 50,000 if departing from Korea
- USD 50 if departing from the U.S.
- CAD 60 if departing from Canada
Overweight baggage fee may vary depending on departing countries.
2) Each extra piece of baggage in excess of the 2 piece free baggage allowance up to 32kg(70lbs) will be charged an applicable excess baggage fee.

Q4: Will my bags be automatically transferred to the connecting flight if I have a connecting domestic flight after I land in Incheon?
|
According to custom regulation, all bags entering Korea must go through customs as soon as the flight lands.
Therefore, baggage will not be transferred. You are required to claim your bags then check-in for the domestic flight.
