What is the Round-the-World Award? The Round-the-World Award is a bonus mileage program that can be redeemed to   travel around the world using flights operated by any of the airlines that are members of the "SkyTeam" Alliance: Korean Air, Aeromexico, Alitalia, Air France, Czech Airlines, Delta Airlines, Continental Airlines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and Aeroflot Russian Airlines, Copa Airlines, Kenya Airways, Air Europa   <Required Mileage> 220,000 miles for business class   140,000 miles for economy class

What qualifies as a round-the-world trip? To qualify as a round-the-world award, travel must be via both Pacific and Atlantic   oceans, and must be in one continuous direction either eastbound or westbound. The final destination must be in a city within the same country where the original departure was made from. The original departure city cannot be used as a stopover to a final destination in the same country. Regions   Asia / Oceania North America     / Central America South America Europe / Middle East     / North Africa Central and South Africa     / Indian Ocean       Note   A maximum of 6 stopovers is permitted throughout the entire trip, with a   maximum of 3 stopovers in any one region (refer to the regional classification   above).   Travelers are allowed to use non-air transportation (train, boat, etc.) or another air   carrier during their trips at their own expense. Any such instance in which travel is   not conducted on a SkyTeam Alliance airline will count as one stopover.

How to Take Advantage Reservation : Make reservations via the Korean Air reservation service center                     and ticketing offices. Ticketing : Issue an award ticket at any of the Korean Air ticketing offices.                 Must have a confirmed reservation for all flights. Award Ticket Validity : One year from the award issue date (ticketing date),                                  validity term cannot be extended. Itinerary Change : Within the stopover rules stated above, itinerary changes                            can be made even after commencing a trip.                            * However, the award tickets must be re-issued at a                            Korean Air ticketing office. Award Ticket Cancellation Case Issue Date Mileage Refund Unused Tickets Within 1 Year Full Mileage Refund After 1 Year Mileage Refund minus 10,000 miles After Commencing Travel No Mileage Refund       Note   The round-the-world award cannot be used during blackout periods of each   SkyTeam Alliance airline. (Blackout periods are waived for Morning Calm Premium   Club and Million Miler Club members)   The 10% discount for multiple ticket purchases is not applicable. No upgrade awards for round-the-world tickets. Adult mileage redemption applies to a child or an infant award ticket. All other SKYPASS rules and conditions may apply.
