e-ticket is a convenient electronic ticket that you can save the detailed information of your ticket in the airline company's advanced e-ticket system. With the e-ticket system, you can also view and use your ticket whenever needed. Unlike a paper ticket, you don't have to worry about losing your ticket any more. Besides, it is also easy and fast to purchase tickets or change itinerary.

How can I buy e-ticket? You can conveniently book and buy e-tickets at Korean Air's agencies or travel agencies through the internet or by telephone. As for payment, you can use any payment method that airline companies accept such as cash, cheque, credit card and debit card.   The details of your e-ticket will be sent to you in a form of 'e-ticket confirmation proof (Itinerary/Receipt)' by email or fax. The conditions regarding payment method may vary depending on the regulations and circumstances of the country you make payment.

What is the boarding process with e-ticket? Just print the e-ticket Itinerary/Receipt and present it with your passport at the airport and you will board promptly and conveniently.   Please keep the Itinerary/Receipt with you throughout your journey, as it may be required during check-in, the exit and entry process or the customs' declaration process.

I bought an e-ticket through the KAL website but wasn't able   to ride. Will my e-ticket be refunded automatically? Your ticket may not be refunded automatically as the conditions to reuse or refund tickets may vary depending on the terms and conditions applied when purchasing the ticket. Please contact or visit a Korean Air agency.

Can I use an e-ticket for any destination operated by   Korean Air? Korean Air uses e-tickets for all domestic lines and the majority of International lines As of March 1st, extra charge to be collected for paper ticket issue request on e-ticket eligible routes. Although e-tickets are offered for passengers traveling from the Philippines, in accordance with the IATA regulation requested by the Philippines government, tickets originating from the Philippines must be issued within the Philippines.
