	Car Rental Service Usage Precautions
	Precautions when Using Rental Cars
	Members should specify their SkyPass membership when making reservations, and present their SkyPass member cards at the time of vehicle pick-up.     Mileage earned in Korean Air’s SKYPASS program on or after July 1, 2008 has a validity of five years and any unredeemed mileage will expire. Mileage earned on or before June 30, 2008 will not expire. The five-year validity is calculated from the date of posting to the member’s account.     Mileage is accrued to the member account approximately 6~8 weeks following the dates of rental car usage.
	Mileage accumulation is not applicable to long-term car rental usage in Korea Mileage accumulation and discounts are not applicable to car rentals including the services of a driver. Mileage accumulation is not apply depending on respective car rental company policies for discounted rates.
	For Mileage Omissions
	Members should contact the corresponding car rental service with mileage accrual requests    within 180 days of the day the vehicle was first picked up.    In such cases, documentary evidence such as receipts, etc., is required. Thus, members    should store such documentary evidence safely until mileage accrual is confirmed.    * SkyPass members using the car rental services cited above may be eligible for usage       discounts.
