  One small piece such as a laptop computer, briefcase, handbag, etc.
   
- Note 2. Carrying Musical Instruments
 
Passengers may carry on board musical instruments that are less than 115cm/45ins in size, like a violin, free of charge.
However, to carry larger instruments, such as a cello, double bass, geomungo (Korean lute), etc, a passenger must purchase an additional, separate seat.
   
- Note 3. Flights Departing the United States and/or Connecting to a U.S. Domestic Flight
 
Due to strengthened security measures and procedures, all passengers, regardless of seating class, are limited to one piece of carry-on baggage and one additional permitted item for flights departing the United States and/or connecting to a U.S. domestic flight.

Items Prohibited from Carriage Into the Cabin
The following items are prohibited from carriage into the cabin.

Sharp and Pointy Objects umbrellas with pointy tips, razors, eyebrow trimmers, scissors, nail clippers, handicraft needles, knitting needles, arrows, darts, forks, gimlets, ski poles, Swiss Army knives, drills, saws, wrenches/spanners, hammers, hypodermic needles, corkscrews, etc.
Blunt Instruments golf clubs, fishing rods, baseball bats, hockey sticks, skateboards, billiard cues, etc.
Kitchen Knives paring knives, cutting knives, etc. (Length of knife limits may vary by country.)
Storing Carry-On Baggage in the Cabin
All carry-on baggage must be stored in an overhead bin or under a seat.
Passengers sitting in an emergency row must store their carry-on baggage in an overhead bin.
Small pets must be placed in cages and stored under the seat in front of the passenger, and are not allowed in emergency rows or aisles.
When placing or removing baggage from overhead bins, passengers should exercise care so as to avoid possible injury from falling items.
Passengers should make sure to check for any personal items left behind prior to disembarking.
