Precautions on Transporting Sports Equipment
Sports equipment such as golf clubs, skis, snowboards, and bicycles under 32kg/70lbs and/or 277cm/109ins total linear inches (L + W + H) will be accepted as checked baggage. |
Sports equipment must be padded and enclosed in a suitable package as it is subject to be bent or damaged during transportation because it has a different shape and size than normal baggage. |
Any passenger carrying an air rifle for hunting or competition firearms must possess an owner’s license as well as receive carrying permission from the airline as well as related authorities in advance. |
Equipment which may pose a fire or explosion such as motorized bicycles, scooters, motorbikes, and jet skis must be transported as checked baggage as it is impractical to transport it as carry-on baggage. |
