Various services are available for passengers travelling with infants.
Korean Air refers to babies under the age of two as infants.
How old does the infant have to be to fly with Korean Air?

What is the airfare for the infant?

Free of charge for infants under the age of two
- An adult must accompany the infant and no seat will be allocated to the infant.
- If a Child's Fare ticket has been purchased for the infant, a seat may be assigned for the infant.
- But in case one adult guardian accompanies more than 2 infants, infant fare shall be applied for one of the infants and child fare shall be applied for the others. Please note that infants applied with child fare are provided with seats accordingly.
Can I take more baggage when travelling with the infant?

* Baby meals must be requested at least 24 hours prior to departure through the reservation center.
* Please prepare food for the infant in special need, as only standard products selected by Korean Air are served.
Are baby bassinets available in the plane?
Baby Bassinets may be requested during reservation.

Size: 75 cm (length) X 34 cm (width) X 22.4 cm (height)
Bassinets are for infants 75 cm tall and weighing less than 11 kg.
Can I use an infant/child car seat?

An infant car seat may be used onboard. Prior to departure please check if its safety has been certified nationally and internationally. Upon checking-in please confirm if you may carry an infant car seat onboard, as it must be used in an unoccupied aircraft seat.

For the safety of the infant when traveling with two infants, the passenger must reserve at least one infant seat onboard.

Can I use a stroller? Can I carry it onboard?
Collapsible strollers (100cm*20cm*20cm or less when folded, without hard covers) may be carried onboard. Anything larger must be checked in.
Strollers can either be checked during the check-in process or at the aircraft door.
Strollers checked at the aircraft door can be claimed at the baggage claim on domestic flights, and upon your request returned to you at the aircraft door when disembarking on international flights.
(Depending on airport regulations, strollers may not be returned to passengers at the aircraft door.)
Do in-flight lavatories have facilities for diaper changing?
On all medium-long distance flights baby diaper panels are installed in the in-flight lavatories for diaper changes.
Please ask flight attendants for the locations of the in-flight lavatories.
