Q1: Can I duty-free items in advance? In-flight duty free items can be ordered in advance by telephone, fax or on-line. The ordered items will be delivered directly to your seat upon boarding. For preorder items for your return flight, the order must be requested at least 72 hours prior to departure.(48hours in advance for Korea-Japan, Korea-China flights) Payment for the items will be made upon delivery. (payment will be made on line when ordering through internet) Q2: What is in-flight shopping point? SKYPASS members who order duty-free items through the pre-order form, telephone or fax will earn one in-flight shopping point per every $1 purchase. Starting from 1,000 points, promotional items will be available. Points will be valid for 3 years. Q3: Can a third person make the payment as gifts? It is possible if you order on-line. If you pay for the items on-line, the items will be delivered to the passenger on board. www.cyberskyshop.com Q4: What are some of the available products that can be purchased on board? More than 160 items are available such as liquor, cosmetics, perfume, electronic devices, fashion accessories, tobacco and chocolate. Some of the luxury items are only available on flights departing from Seoul. Q5: What is a gift certificate and how can it be used? Korean Air will present a gift certificate (worth 30,000 won) to every pre-order of $500 that can be used for duty-free shopping on Korean Air flights. (Certificate cannot be used to purchase Ballentine products.) A single gift certificate will only be valid for use when purchasing a product that is more than 50,000 won. Q6: Are different products available for different flights? The product list is similar on most of the long-distance flights. Due to time limit and available space, products list is limited on smaller aircrafts such as flights to Korea-Japan, Korea-China. Please refer to "SKYSHOP' magazine or"CYBERSKYSHOP" on-line for more details. Q7: Can I use my SKYPASS mileage to purchase in-flight items? No, SKYPASS mileage cannot be used to purchase items. However, you can earn one in-flight shopping point per every $1 purchase if you use the pre-ordering service. Points can later be redeemed to receive promotional items. Q8: Can I purchase in-flight duty-free items without flying on international flight? According to duty-free regulations, in-flight duty-free items can only be purchased on board. Q9: Can I purchase duty-free items on code-share flights? Duty-free is not available on international code-share flights. Q10: What is the maximum purchase for in-flight duty-free items? There is no limit, however, passengers will pay a fine if more than USD 400 is spent upon entering Korea. - Duty-free allowance: 1 bottle of liquor, 1cartoon of cigarettes, 600ml perfume.   (Please refer to SKYSHOP magazine for more details) Q11: There has been a flight change after I pre-ordered the duty-free items, what do I do? Please contact the in-flight duty-free center if your flight has been rescheduled.
