‘Advance Seat Selection’ service that allows passengers to
select their preferred seat prior to checking-in
Online Advance Seat Selection Service
Eligible
customers
Customers who have
purchased tickets on domestic flights from Korean Air website after
loggin in.
Customers who are a member of Korean Air Website and have purchased tickets on call center, airport, city office or travel agencies.
Ticket purchase must be completed
between 720hours(30 days) and 3 hours prior to departure.
Note
In the following cases, Advanced Seat
Selection service may not be available online.
Unscheduled flight maintenance, sudden
aircraft change and other irregular flight operations such as an extra
and charter flights.
Guidelines
Please login as Korean Air internet
member before purchasing tickets online.
You will be able to select a seat while
booking for your flights (Just click ‘ Select Seats ' in the
lower end of ‘ Finish ' page).
Advance Seat Selection service is also
available even in case of skipping the service during booking
process. You can select or even make a change on your previous
selection in My Reservation Section of My Page
After selecting a seat on the Internet,
domestic travelers are advised to print out a boarding pass
exchange voucher and exchange the voucher with a boarding pass
20 minutes prior to departure at the check-in counter at the
airport.
Important Information
Passengers who do not exchange the voucher
with a boarding pass 20 minutes prior to departure may not be allowed
to board the aircraft or not have a seat previously selected on the
Internet. The boarding pass exchange voucher is not transferable.
Some identification is required when exchanging the voucher with a
boarding pass.
Some seats including ones near the exit may
not be available.
Some seats may not be available in the event
of a change of aircraft
Under inevitable circumstances such as aircraft
change, pre-selected seats may change without prior-notice.
The seating configuration of internet seat
map may be different from actual configuration of the aircraft you
will be boarding. If you are unable to select a seat in advance, please
have your seat assigned when you check in at the airport on the date
of your departure.
