Ticket Services / e-Ticket

e-ticket is a convenient electronic ticket that you can save the detailed information of your ticket in the airline company's advanced e-ticket system. With the e-ticket system, you can also view and use your ticket whenever needed. Unlike a paper ticket, you don't have to worry about losing your ticket any more. Besides, it is also easy and fast to purchase tickets or change itinerary.
 
How can I buy e-ticket?
You can conveniently book and buy e-tickets at Korean Air's agencies or travel agencies through the internet or by telephone.
As for payment, you can use any payment method that airline companies accept such as cash, cheque, credit card and debit card.
 
The details of your e-ticket will be sent to you in a form of 'e-ticket confirmation proof (Itinerary/Receipt)' by email or fax.
The conditions regarding payment method may vary depending on the regulations and circumstances of the country you make payment.
   
 
What is the boarding process with e-ticket?
Just print the e-ticket Itinerary/Receipt and present it with your passport at the airport check-in where you will be given your boarding pass.
 
Please keep the Itinerary/Receipt with you throughout your journey, as it may be required during check-in, the exit and entry process or the customs' declaration process.
 
 
I bought an e-ticket through the KAL website but wasn't able
  to ride. Will my e-ticket be refunded automatically?
Refunds are not provided automatically upon non-boarding of a flight. To receive a refund, you must submit a request by phone, Internet, or ticketing office. For domestic flights, refunds can be requested via Internet or phone, and for any change in reservations, payment of any fare difference and/or receipt of refund followed by re-issuance of the flight ticket can be done. Note, for international flights, various flight ticket modification and/or refund-related regulations exist according to the terms of purchase that apply. Please contact a Korean Air office as flight ticket modification and/or refunds may not be available.
 
 
Can I use an e-ticket for any destination operated by
  Korean Air?
Korean Air currently provides e-ticket service for all domestic and international flights.
According to Philippines law, all flight tickets (including e-tickets) for flights departing from the Philippines cannot be purchased from any region other than the Philippines. In following, customers must apply for other region transfer service (PTA SVC) for such flight tickets.
