If your ticket has been lost or stolen, contact your airline first. Ticket will be replaced or refunded according to your request.

I have lost my ticket. What information do I need to report?
You’ll need to provide the original ticket information such as ticket number, place and purchase date of your ticket and itinerary. This will minimize processing time for the lost ticket replacement. It is also recommended that you make a copy of your ticket in case it is lost.
 
Is there a fee for lost ticket replacement?
Service charge applies to lost ticket replacement or refund. Service charge varies depending on the country where the service is provided. Charges are subject to change, and there are no exemptions under any circumstances.

What documents do I need to provide?
You have the option to have the lost ticket replaced or refunded. In either case, the following documents are required.

Adult passenger - A copy of the passenger’s passport
- Indemnity agreement letter for lost ticket
- A copy of the passenger’s passport

- A copy of the passenger’s passport
- Indemnity agreement letter for lost ticket
 (written by a parent or a legal representative)
- The parent’s or the representative’s identification
- Document that confirms the relationship with the parent or the legal representative such as a copy of the resident registration, a copy of the family register, a medical insurance card, etc.
- A copy of the passenger’s passport

How long does it take to process the lost ticket replacement?
Visit a Korean Air branch office with the necessary documents, as instructed above, and the ticket will be replaced immediately. However, if you are having your ticket replaced in a different country, it will take approximately 2-3 business days, as your original ticket information must be first verified with the original issuing place.
I would like to have a refund of my lost ticket.
I have lost my ticket. Can I have a refund?
Visit a Korean Air branch office and present the necessary documents listed above, and you can apply for a refund.
If the lost ticket was issued using PTA service (Prepaid Ticket Advice), authorization from the first issuing carrier will be required.
 
How long does it take to process a lost ticket refund?
If it is confirmed that the lost ticket has never been used, you can get a refund 60 days after your request.
 
I have purchased a new ticket exactly the same as the lost one to complete the trip. What do I do with the unused ticket?
If you purchased a new ticket to complete your travel, you can apply for a refund for the unused portion of the new ticket. However, the newly purchased ticket must have the same itinerary, class, and conditions as the lost ticket.
To apply for a refund of the new ticket, you need to prepare the necessary documents listed above, plus the following additional documents.

- The Passenger Receipt for the new ticket
- A receipt for the new ticket purchase
