Приветствие от имени генерального директора

A new year is beginning, one of great hope and optimism.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our customer and friends for helping to make this past year a strong one. As a result of your love and interest, Korean Air has grown as a leading global company, with the ability to compete and succeed on a worldwide level.

To compete effectively in the worldwide aviation industry and to provide service to customers fit on a global level, we will open and develop new markets, be strategic in our thinking, and goal-oriented. We will offer service that will make customers want to return to and products that differentiate Korean Air from other global carriers.

A new page in Korean Air’s history will be unveiled in 2011. By year’s end, we will be operating the super jumbo A-380 in Asia, America and Europe. This is part of our effort to take advantage of the environmental efficiencies of next generation aircraft, and we are continually adding new aircraft to reduce any environmental concerns. Korean Air is more than a Korean airline. Korean Air is a major international aviation company, and we will do our best to become an icon recognized by customers worldwide for outstanding service, innovative thinking and operational excellence…something we call Excellence in Flight.

Meanwhile, Korean Air has evolved into a company that not only contributes to its shareholders and stakeholders, but to our global society as well. Giving back is an integral part of Korean culture and volunteering can move the hearts of many. To that point, this coming year our strategy will include more social responsibility activities than ever before. Korean Air will share our hearts, talents and time to help others not as fortunate as ourselves.

I look toward this year with hope and optimism. Our employees and management are proud to be of service to you. We will become a brave and innovative Korean Air to satisfy your needs. We look forward to serving you in the near future.
