Can I fly with my pet?
What sort of pets can I take with me onboard?

▣ Other animals are not allowed to board the aircraft. Please enquire at an animal transportation agency.
Are all kinds of dogs, cats and birds are allowed?
Aggressive dogs (such as American Pit Bull Terriers, Rottweilers and Dobermanns) or birds are not allowed.
Can I carry my pet onboard?
YES, if the pet in the kennel weighs 5kg or less.
NO, pets more than 5kg travel in the cargo compartment.
   
As the number of pets that may be carried is designated per aircraft type, please inquire with the reservation center for detailed information.

Only one pet is allowed per passenger whether it travels in the passenger cabin or in the cargo compartment
(2 puppies of 6 months old or younger, 2 kittens or a pair of birds may travel in one cage.)
 
How do I organize my pet’s travel?
Domestic flights: Call the reservation center (+82-2-2656-2001) and make the booking.
International flights: After having documentation required for the quarantine inspection at destination ready, contact the reservation center and make the booking for pet travel. For regulations and requirements in Korea contact Incheon Animal Quarantine Office
(+82-32-740-2660~1).
What are the charges for pet travel?
Regardless of your free baggage allowance, you will be charged extra for your pet according to the excess baggage charge in the following table.
Payment method: During checking-in
US regions Outside US
200% the excess baggage charge specified for your flight
Excess baggage charge for the total weight of the pet and the kennel
