How to purchase a seat in the Kosmo zone

Eligibility

Passengers who purchased Prestige Class seats (J, C, D Class)

Purchase time per sales channel

  • Korean Air website, mobile app: From ticket purchase until check-in closes
  • Korean Air branch offices and ticketing agencies: From ticket purchase until 24 hours before departure
    • Confirm with your ticketing agency if seats are available for purchase, as some agencies do not offer these options.
  • Airport ticket counters (airports in all regions), Incheon International Airport check-in counters and boarding gates: From 48 hours before departure until check-in closes

Change and cancellation of seat selection

  • A Preferred Seat can be canceled and refunded up to 48 hours prior to departure.
  • Paid seat options may not be canceled or refunded within 48 hours of departure and fees for paid seat options will not be refunded upon ticket cancellation.
    • However, refunds are available when the service is not offered due to airline circumstances such as flight cancellation or delay.
