- International: Economy flex fare, Prestige plus/flex fare
- Domestic: Economy normal fare
How to get a seat upgrade
You can get a
Upgrade at the time of purchase
Select your itinerary and cabin class
View fares eligible for a seat upgrade by selecting [Purchase & Upgrade] when selecting the cabin class during booking.
International or Korea domestic flights to or from Gimpo and Incheon operated by Korean Air are eligible.
Select a flight
- Browse through information about mileage redemption and available seats when you select your flight.
- It is also possible to upgrade seats for only part of your itinerary.
Enter passenger information
- Enter the passenger information for seat upgrade.
- You can select a registered family member on top of the logged-in member.
Pay for the flight ticket
Ticket payment will be processed first.
Mileage redemption
Continue with mileage redemption and upgrade award issuance.
Seat upgrade completed
- An e-ticket itinerary will be sent to the email address provided at the time of the ticket purchase.
- You can check the booking details in [My > Trips] on the Korean Air website.
Upgrade after purchase
Search trips
Click on the [Mileage Seat Upgrade] button in the booking details to upgrade your seat.
Seat upgrade and mileage redemption
Please select a segment of your itinerary and passenger for the seat upgrade.
For mileage redemption through mileage pooling, you can designate the mileage to be used and the order of use.
Seat upgrade completed
- An e-ticket itinerary will be sent to the e-mail address provided at the time of the ticket purchase.
- You can check the booking details in [My > Trips] on the Korean Air website.
