Available hours

  • Seoul Station City Airport Terminal reopened (as of May 30, 2022)
  • Counter operating hours: 5:20 AM–7:00 PM 
  • Check-in cut-off time: 3 hours and 20 minutes before aircraft departure  

How to use

STEP 1

Purchase an express train ticket

  • Purchase an express train ticket to Incheon International Airport on the B2 level of Seoul Station City Airport Terminal.
  • Only express train passengers to Incheon International Airport can check in at Seoul Station City Airport Terminal.

STEP 2

Check-in and baggage drop

  • Complete your seat selection, baggage drop and check-in, and receive a boarding pass at the Korean Air counter at the City Airport Terminal.

STEP 3

Immigration screening

  • Present your boarding pass and passport at the Ministry of Justice Korea Immigration Service office and proceed with the immigration screening.
    • The Ministry of Justice’s immigration screening at Seoul Station City Airport Terminal is available between 5:30 AM and 7:00 PM.

STEP 4

Board the express train

  • You can take the elevator exclusively for express train passengers from B2 to the B7 level platform.

STEP 5

Designated departure passage

  • Passengers who have completed the screening process at a City Airport Terminal can use the designated lane in the departure area on 3F at Incheon International Airport for expedited departure.
  • After completing the security screening, proceed to the assigned boarding gate and board your flight.

  • Gwangmyeong Station City Airport Terminal reopened (as of December 16, 2024)
  • Counter operating hours: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Check-in cut-off time: 3 hours and 20 minutes before aircraft departure

How to use

STEP 1

Check-in and baggage drop

  • Complete your seat selection, baggage drop and check-in, and receive a boarding pass at the Korean Air counter at the City Airport Terminal.

STEP 2

Board the KTX Airport Limousine Bus

  • Purchase a ticket and board the limousine bus to Incheon International Airport.

STEP 3

Designated departure passage

  • Passengers who have completed the boarding process at a City Airport Terminal can use the designated lane in the departure area at Incheon International Airport for expedited departure.
  • After completing the security screening, proceed to the assigned boarding gate and board your flight.

Passengers who cannot check in at City Airport Terminals

  • You cannot check in at the City Airport Terminal if you are:
  • Flying on a codeshare flight operated by another airline with a Korean Air flight number 
  • Flying on a charter or non-scheduled flight (4-digit flight numbers starting with 8 or 9, e.g., KE8XXX)
  • An unaccompanied minor, a passenger requiring special assistance (e.g., using a wheelchair), or a passenger traveling with pet
