What you should know
- After you register your family members to your Family Plan, you and your family members can pool and use each other’s mileage without undergoing a separate consent process.
- If an award purchased by combining the mileage of a family member is refunded, the mileage will be returned to the member who purchased the award.
- If you do not wish to pool your family’s mileage, please delete the family members from your plan.
- Miles from SkyTeam Awards and seat upgrades cannot be added to the family mileage pool.

How to endorse mileage Confirm Cancel
1. Register your family
To endorse awards to a family member, the family member must be registered beforehand via the Korean Air website, mobile app, service center, or any of our branch offices (excluding airport offices).
2. Purchase award
When purchasing an award, designate yourself or another passenger as a family member to provide your mileage to yourself or them.

Register your family
- To pool your family members’ mileage, they must be registered beforehand via the Korean Air website, mobile app, service center, or any of our branch offices (excluding airport offices).
- You can check your family members' mileage and mileage validity on the Korean Air website or mobile app under [My > My Family Plan].
Purchase award
- At payment, select the family members whose mileage you wish to use, and then enter the number of miles needed.
- Under the Family Plan, the mileage of up to five family members (including yourself) may be pooled.
- If you do not wish to pool your family’s mileage, please delete the family members from your plan.
