Key benefits
At airports where exclusive check-in counters are not available, you can use SkyPriority or the highest-class counters.
All passenger classes, including First Class, Prestige, and Economy, are allowed an additional bag weighing up to 32 kg.
An additional 30 kg is allowed on routes that apply the baggage weight system used on domestic flights in Korea
When flying with Korean Air and SkyTeam member airlines, your checked baggage will be handled with priority.
You can bring one passenger who is flying with Korean Air or SkyTeam member airlines.
However, beginning in April 2025, you can only bring a passenger who is traveling on the same flight if the airport does not offer a lounge directly managed by Korean Air.
If you are flying Korean Air Prestige Class, you can access the Miler Club Lounge at airports
This applies only to the same booking class.
During peak season, off-peak mileage will be applied to award tickets.
Fees for reissuing award tickets are waived. (Award ticket purchases or changes at the Service Center, branch office, or airport are subject to a ticket service charge. It is free of charge on the Korean Air website, mobile site, or chatbot.)
You can reserve an extra legroom seat or a front-zone seat free of charge.
(Passengers with a Class T ticket cannot reserve an extra legroom seat)

When you fly with SkyTeam member airlines, you’ll receive benefits like lounge access, priority checked baggage handling, and priority on the waiting list.
- Starting from January 1, 2026, passengers are required to present a physical or mobile membership card when boarding China Southern Airlines in order to receive Elite member benefits.
- You can use Business Class counters and enjoy priority boarding.
- Additional checked baggage is free of charge and handled with priority.
- These benefits do not apply to other airlines’ codeshare flights with China Southern Airlines.

Million Miler Club eligibility
- You can qualify for the Million Miler Club membership if you have at least 1,000,000 miles on Korean Air (including miles earned on SkyTeam member airlines).
- Million Miler Club membership is valid for life.
One million miles accrued
Mileage accrued from non-SkyTeam partner airlines, partner credit card usage, and promotional events is excluded.
What you should know
- Please keep your contact information up to date, including your email address, as we send membership qualification information to the email provided in your SKYPASS profile.
- Your Elite member status is not affected by redeeming earned mileage or by the expiration of mileage. Elite member status is awarded upon meeting the status requirements for each membership tier.
