At airports where exclusive check-in counters are not available, you can use SkyPriority or the highest-class counters.
First/Prestige Class passengers are allowed one additional bag weighing up to 32 kg, and Economy Class passengers are allowed one additional bag weighing up to 23 kg.
Additional 20 kg allowed on routes that apply the same baggage weight system as that applied on domestic flights within South Korea
When flying with Korean Air and SkyTeam member airlines, your checked baggage will be handled with priority.
You can bring one passenger who is flying with Korean Air or SkyTeam member airlines.
However, beginning in April 2025, you can only bring a passenger who is traveling on the same flight if the airport does not offer a lounge directly managed by Korean Air.
If you are flying Korean Air Prestige Class, you can access the Miler Club Lounge at airports
This applies only to the same booking class.
During peak season, off-peak mileage will be applied for award tickets.
Fees for reissuing award tickets are waived. (Award ticket purchases or changes at the Service Center, branch office, or airport are subject to a ticket handling charge. It is free of charge on the Korean Air website, mobile site, or chatbot.)
You can reserve a front zone seat or standard seat free of charge regardless of the Economy Class ticket fare.
(Extra legroom seats are excluded.)

- Starting from January 1, 2026, passengers are required to present a physical or mobile membership card when boarding China Southern Airlines in order to receive Elite member benefits.

- These benefits do not apply to other airlines’ codeshare flights with China Southern Airlines.

Morning Calm Premium Club eligibility
- You can qualify for the Morning Calm Premium Club membership if you have at least 500,000 miles on Korean Air (including miles earned on SkyTeam member airlines).
- The Morning Calm Premium Club membership is valid for life.

What you should know
- Please keep your contact information up to date, including your email address, as we send membership qualification information to the email provided in your SKYPASS profile.
- Your Elite member status is not affected by redeeming earned mileage or by the expiration of mileage. Elite member status is awarded upon meeting the status requirements for each membership tier.
