You can use the exclusive Morning Calm bag-drop counter.
First/Prestige Class passengers are allowed one additional bag weighing up to 32 kg, and Economy Class passengers are allowed one additional bag weighing up to 23 kg. (Economy Class passengers on Americas routes are excluded.)
Additional 10 kg allowed on routes that apply the baggage weight system used on domestic flights in South Korea
When flying with Korean Air
- Members can use Prestige Lounges operated by Korean Air (up to four times during a two-year period).
- Additional lounge access awards can be redeemed to bring a guest with a Korean Air ticket (flight number starting with KE).
- Access may be limited depending on how busy the lounge is.

Morning Calm Club eligibility
- You can qualify for Morning Calm Club by meeting any one of the following conditions.
- Korean Air mileage will be accrued when a passenger purchases a ticket with a Korean Air flight number under a mileage-eligible booking class and then boards the flight.

50,000 miles accrued
If you have earned 30,000 miles or more from boarding Korean Air flights, the remaining mileage can be earned with partners.
Condition 2 Condition 2
80 points from the number of flights with Korean Air
One domestic flight within Korea equals one point, and one international flight equals two points.
As of March 9, 2024, Korean Air uses the term "Points from boarding Korean Air flights" to describe how many times passengers have flown with Korean Air. The criteria for earning and maintaining SKYPASS Morning Calm Club status remains unchanged, so one domestic flight within Korea equals one point, and one international flight equals two points. (Boarding points cannot be earned for tickets purchased under non-mileage accrual conditions)
- You will remain a member of the Morning Calm Club if you meet one of the following conditions during your two-year membership period. Otherwise you will become a SKYPASS member.
- Members who have become SKYPASS members within the re-evaluation period
Every 2 years from the date of becoming a SKYPASS member can immediately regain Morning Calm Club membership if they meet the requirements for maintaining the membership, and their performance for regaining the membership is newly calculated as of the membership renewal date. - Only flights purchased and flown with a Korean Air flight number and in a booking class eligible for mileage accrual will count as qualifying Korean Air activity.
- For a member who serves in the military, Korean Air will extend the Morning Calm Club qualification period by the length of military service during the membership validity period.

- Please keep your contact information up to date, including your email address, as we send membership qualification information to the email provided in your SKYPASS profile.
- Your Elite member status is not affected by redeeming earned mileage or by the expiration of mileage. Elite member status is awarded upon meeting the status requirements for each membership tier.
