The Competition to find the winners in the 21st Korean Air Travel Photo Contest has opened with entries being accepted between now and Sept. 1. The 2014 contest theme is ‘Pleasant and Memorable Travel Moment’.
The Korean Air Photo Contest began 21 years ago in 1994 and has grown to become the most renowned amateur photo competition in Korea, beloved by amateur photographers who have a passion for travel and photography.
This year’s contest is divided into the ‘Main Award’ for all photos relating to travel and ‘Special Awards’. The categories in the ‘Special Awards’ are the ‘Best Friend Awards’ for entries depicting love and friendship between family members, friends, lovers or neighbors and the ‘Smart Life Awards’ for entries taken with smart phones.
The contest is open to all nationalities, and entrants should submit their work on the official website (photo.koreanair.com) except those for the “Smart Life Awards” which should be registered at the airline’s mobile site (m.photo.koreanair.com). Prints can be sent via mail or delivered in person. (Location: 2nd floor Sungwon BLDG, 2634-27, Nambusunhwan-ro, Seocho-gu, Seoul, Korea (zip code : 137-886))
