Please be advised that ticket change/refund guidelines due to COVID-19 for flights operating normally.
 

(1) Passengers with entry restriction regarding COVID-19



1. Passengers with entry restriction regarding novel coronavirus

   * Strongly recommended reviewing the latest entry requirements of your destinations.
   * The immigration authorities of each country can provide you with more information.

2. Travel Date : ~ June 30, 2020

3. Applicable Charges

  • Waiver for refund penalty
  • Permission of date/itinerary changes. Reissue penalty shall be waived once. (any fare differences should be collected)
    ※ Aside from entry restrictions, in case of traveling from Philippines, Thailand (issued on/before March 9) reissue penalty shall be waived once.
  • Waiver on fare difference
    a. Required reissue to origin ticket destination due to entry restriction (not applied for fully unused ticket)
    b. Denied boarding passengers due to COVID-19 such as registering a higher temperature.

(2) Traveling to/from Americas



1. Routes
    - Flights traveling from U.S/Canada/Mexico to Korea and/or to other destinations transiting in Korea
      (Honolulu-Narita included, Guam excluded) 
    - Flights traveling from Asia to Americas (Guam excluded)

2. Departure Date : ~ June 30, 2020, Issued on/before March 17, 2020

3. Applicable Charges

  • Permission of date changes including non-changeable ticket. (New travel date must be within the original ticket validity)
    - Reissue penalty and No-show penalty shall be waived once.
    - Ticket must be reissued on/before June 30, 2020.
  • Waiver on fare difference
    a. If new travel date is on/before July 31, 2020
       - Ticket must be completely unused
       - Fare differences will be waived as long as it is in the same cabin class and between the same cities
         (tax/surcharge differences will be applied)

    b. If new travel date is on/after August 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021
       - Ticket must be completely unused
       - Fare differences will be waived as long as it is in the same booking class and between the same cities
         (the same booking class must be available at the change date and tax/surcharge differences will be applied)
  • Full refund available for Daegu(TAE) routes (Including Non-Refundable Ticket)
    ※ Even if ICN-TAE or TAE-ICN routes is not included in your ticket, acceptable other documents that verify a passenger will travel to/from Daegu such as Bus/Train tickets.

For Award tickets, stopover en route for flights departing on/after July 1, 2020 are not permitted-only allowing transit within 24 hours between origin and destination.



(3) COVID-19 Patient, Medical Staff, Military Personnel and International Student



1. Subject : Patient (including subjected to investigation/isolation measure), Medical staff, Military service personnel, International student and families/accompanied traveller with same itinerary

   * Required valid documents such as diagnosis paper, employment certificate, official travel restriction, military service document, student ID and school official documents regarding travel restrictions to Korea etc

2. Travel Date : Jan 20 ~ June 30, 2020

3. Applicable Charges

  • Waiver for refund penalty
  • Permission of date/itinerary changes. Reissue penalty shall be waived once (any fare differences should be collected)
