About Budapest
The “pearl” of the Donau
Budapest is famous for the streets of young people and the historic cultural sites. This city is divided into two parts – Buda and Pest – by the Danube. Buda is a historical district, with time-honored buildings and beautiful gardens, whereas Pest is a commercial district of hotels and shopping centers. Szechenyi Bridge and Erzebet Bridge connect the two areas.
